To-dos in Christchurch, New Zealand

Where do I even start? Christchurch is just like a modern town, but reconstruction works are still ongoing after the recent quake. We decided to take a drive to explore the town to try to appreciate the aftereffects.

More details at www.canterburymuseum.com/quakecity/ We didn’t view the exhibition inside, but you could check it out.

The Quake City exhibition is located with the Re:START container mall. Simply put, it is a single story shopping mall (think Bugis Street) but made up of shops – food, novelty items, clothes, banks, coffee, gifts, etc – in shipping containers. This should help brighten the town folks’ days, just as it did for me.
