Here’s the last post for “Malaysia, Truly Asia”. This post has been delayed for quite a bit, but better late than never 🙂
First up, here’s a simplified map of Malacca Town. Upon checking in to Hotel Puri, we were pleasantly surprised when we found this map. Really idiot-proof; gets you around the place. However, please note that the map is not drawn to scale and some roads do not have road signs. You have to keep your eyes peeled to move around the area using this map.
And what better way to please a Singaporean than to provide him or her with the places for food and snacks. You must be wondering why the above map is peppered with numbered labels. May I know bring your attention to the image below. My recommendations are underlined in red. 13: Awesome awesome Popiah with crunchy bits inside. 21: Sedap satay + sauce; crispy calamari
And one last thing, there is an shop along Lorong Hang Jebat (near Jalan Tukang Besi) that serves awesome Chendol. In my opinion, the Chendol is better than Jonker 88’s. 🙂 This shop also sells homemade flat noodles. Sadly, I can’t remember the exact address! Go explore…
