Oh my, this lil Korean thingy just served us for nearly 5 years now.
100,053 km. One hundred thousand and fifty three kilometres.
Who would have thought a Korean car can last that long (and that far) with no manufacturer defects. No wonder Hyundai America daringly provides 10 years comprehensive warranty for its cars. Komoco (Singapore), where is our 10 years unlimited warranty!!!
Apart from those small issues I’ve written about, there have been no downtime for this Korean workhorse. And after trying out so many other brands of cars in its class (based on price and features) recently, I’m glad to say that the new Avante-successor, the 2011 Elantra, destroys the competition. Again, KOMOCO, can you please not over price your just-launched cars. With an OMV of less than S$15k and your current selling price of S$90k, your profit margin is like S$17,000 man. Wake up! 😛
Now, when will we have enough money to splash on the new Elantra? Sponsors? Anyone?
